While most cats can't talk, I am here on their behalf with an important announcement. Tomorrow, AUgust 8th, is International Cat Day. That means that if you have a cat in your life, you should be celebrating it.
And if you don't have a cat in your life, well, why not? There are plenty in need of good homes with lots of love. Mostly because of a surfeit of feral cats because people don't exert population control on their pets. But that means that there are plenty of cute kittens and laid-back seniors and everything in between, all ready to ignore you unless it suits them, or it's dinnertime.
And speaking of dinner, unless that cat is yours truly, never feed them chocolate. Best diets for cats are raw meat diets because they, unlike humans, are obligate carnivores. That means the domestic cat cannot live without meat in their life because that's the only way they can get certain essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
On the other hand, things like catnip and other smelly treats are wonderful, and can't actually be overindulged in. The worst your cat can get from getting too deep into the 'nip is a good nap from wearing themselves out.
So go, get your cat a new toy, a treat, some extra pampering, and celebrate that they have chosen you to be a part of their lives.
[A pause, as they let the message sink in.]
And now I return you to your regularly scheduled diet of cat memes.

Anyway, uh! Stuff happened and — stuff got lost. Or stolen. Stuff and stuff. Oh my god, what am I doing.
[ he clears his throat. ]
My point is. I'm sort of freelancing my . . . powers? They work in teleportation. So I can teleport objects to anywhere in the world, but also if you lost something, I can locate it for you. Anywhere. And that applies to people too.
And, uh, I can also check where to find the best food. Like Yelp, but in my head. Don't ask.
Soo. Anyone . . . interested? Probably?

[The video opens on a view of what appears to be one of the rooms in the Diadem, but the angle is that of a phone just left at an odd angle, probably against a pillow on the bed if the rumpled comforter is anything to go by, but it's hard to tell because the image keeps getting blocked by a black and yellow something that isn't in focus at first. After a while, it becomes clear that this is a cat, pawing and sniffing at the phone as if it isn't sure what is going on.
Finally, the cat sits back and meows, bats at the phone, and the feed ends.]

This community is meant to simulate online interactions between characters. The game lacks a closed network but characters have a number of choices when it comes to expressing themselves to their fellow metas.
OurPowers, the primary social media site for metahumans, operates just like Facebook. Posts and comments will have a picture of your character and their name. Players can have multiple OurPowers profiles. Posts on Ourpowers are done under their civilian name or metahuman alias.
OurPowers does have an anonymous feature. In world, this feature is there to allow metahumans the freedom to ask questions without outing themselves. It can be used for most anything, though. Replies can either be anonymous or names can be attached.
This community can be used for private guild communication. All Society members are given access to the Society's network. And all Alliance members have access to the Alliance's. Unaffiliated characters will need to set up their own.
These networks are unhackable. Any attempts to do so must be posted on the Plotting Page.
