Sorry about my sudden silence, I got the story of the absolute century and had to sit on it until now. And trust me, today I really have it.

But before we get to that, let's do a quick recap of the usual suspects.

Spotted: Fantastic and Katherine West are at it again. According to his latest insta pic, their on-again off-again seems to be very much on! But Katherine doesn't look all that excited... maybe she was just trying to avoid having proposals at the White Hearts festival. Apparently that was a real problem this year. Or maybe she's grabbing a little stardom since it sounds like Fantastic's biopic is finally in production.

And if we're talking about star power, Meta Mingle is looking for some new talent to take up some space. Fans seem to be getting tired of the same old faces rolling in and out of those doors. So if you're a meta looking for your chance at fame and fortune, it's time to audition and see what you're made of.

Frances Starling is back in the news again, but this time not because she's in court kicking ass and taking names. It seems our favor super lawyer is suddenly getting super involved in trying to secure specialty housing for metahumans.

And speaking of metahumans... That's right. It's time to get into what you're really here for.

Okay, so, check this: At the start of January, someone in Little Love contacted yours truly and said they'd seen the first Confluence in, like, a billion years. I was so excited I almost went live, but next thing I know I get an email from the Guardian Alliance itself asking me to hold off on publishing my findings. So I was a good little superfan and kept these lips zipped.

And then - and then - it happened again. Sure, Central City gets attacked all the time - but reports came rolling in about people displaying superpowers and helping get things under control.

And then, finally, what happened last month in Excelsior. Once is a fluke, twice is coincidence, but three times? I think we're living in a new Age of Metas, cuties.

So here's the question: who are these new metas? Was this whole thing an Alliance stunt to debut a bunch of new supers? If so, some of those guys really didn't stick the landing. Seriously, I know downtown has a problem with potholes but yikes.

I reached out to the Alliance but they were all, no comment which, of course, means there's something to comment on. I'll keep you posted, but in the mean time, keep sending me those posts. If you've got a rumor, I want to hear it. Especially if it's about the new metas. I'd love to get the scoop before the Alliance Expo.
