Hi. Soo.. I was thinking. [ a beat. ] Oh. Wait, uh, I'm Billy, by the way, for those of you that don't know me. I'm a witch, which-- [ heh. ] --is sort of what this is about? .. Right. [ wow, embarrassing. this is why he doesn't do public speaking. ]

Anyway, I was thinking about magic-- [ jazz hands. ] --and people that do magic here. Specifically those of us that, uh, came out of one of the Confluences? Though I guess if there are natives here that want to get in on this, that's probably fine, I don't know. Loki mentioned-- [ another beat. ] My Loki-- [ no. ] Young Avengers Loki? [ ugh. ] .. Whatever, a Loki mentioned magic club, and I don't know how serious he was.. [ leaning back and peering off-camera like he's expecting loki to pop up in the doorway (entirely possible). ] .. but I think it's a good idea?

[ he glances back at the camera again. ] Personally-speaking, it's nice to have other people to bounce ideas off of, test spells with, learn from.. that kind of thing. And who knows, maybe we could figure this Confluence thing out and get the hell out of here, though I'm not holding my breath yet.

[ a pause, and he rolls his eyes at himself, blowing a breath out. ] Which is all to say that if you have magic, are magic, come from a magic world and have a pretty strong understanding of it, or you're just really interested in magic and want to learn or.. whatever.. let's get brunch? What do you guys think?

[ he hesitates, then starts to sign off, then pauses. ] Also, I guess at some point in the future, possibly not even all that distant future, I probably have to create at least one new reality, maybe more? So if you have experience with that kind of thing, I'd really like to talk to you.

[ you're fucking welcome, little loki. ]

So, you've done this involuntarily before? May I ask about the circumstances?

No, that's not-- [ he heaves a sigh, rubbing a hand over his face. ] Okay, sorry, let me just-- [ a pause to try to collect his thoughts. ] .. So I have a friend at home named America, and she comes from another dimension-slash-reality, whatever you want to call it. Not one that.. altered mine--it's called 616--or an alternate timeline that no longer exists, or a pocket dimension within 616, just.. wholly separate. Like this one.

[ a weird, uncomfortable expression crosses his face, and he winces. ] Anyway, apparently in some distant future, I made her dimension. So it already exists, but it also won't exist unless I make it eventually. See? But I don't want to go into it just-- just not knowing anything, like that's a huge responsibility? How do you even-- [ ugh. he's not going to dump his issues on some stranger. ] .. Anyway, that's why I'm asking around to see if other people have experience, I want to learn what I can.

[ plus he may wind up doing something similar for little loki and that's a much more immediate and pressing and terrifying concern. ]

And if nobody has the experience you're looking for, what are you going to do? Abstain?

No? I mean, it's already happened, so I've clearly done it.

So you're confident about your ability to do it, even if the circumstance you mentioned is, like, wacky time-line bullshit?

I am absolutely not confident about my ability to do it. But if I don't have help here, maybe I can find help at home. And, I don't know, if it turns out that it was some alternate me that did it, or someone else altogether.. then great, I'm off the hook and I can never consider making another dimension ever again.

Look, if you're not on a known deadline, I'd appreciate care taken in tinkering while you're here. Experience says this world is probably in a precarious place, so far as the stability of reality is concerned, and I don't have the 616 safety net available to me.

The world-natives here would probably appreciate it, too.
