Soo. That blackout. That was rough. Right? Right? . . . Right.

Anyway, uh! Stuff happened and — stuff got lost. Or stolen. Stuff and stuff. Oh my god, what am I doing.

[ he clears his throat. ]

My point is. I'm sort of freelancing my . . . powers? They work in teleportation. So I can teleport objects to anywhere in the world, but also if you lost something, I can locate it for you. Anywhere. And that applies to people too.

And, uh, I can also check where to find the best food. Like Yelp, but in my head. Don't ask.

I mean, I dunno. It’s kind of cool to be able to see the world through new eyes, I guess? V’s never seen most Earth things, so it’s nice to have that sense of wonder again. Like being a kid. It’s like what parents say having kids is like without actually having kids…

Speaking of… I have two kids?

Wait, you didn't know you had kids?

Uh... No?

But, like, they're not exactly mine? I mean, they are, but I didn't... have them? I think I had one of them, though. Like, literally. Venom... offspring... It sounds like I got alien-pregnant, but fuck if I know, dude.

That . . . seems like a lot to take in. How're you holding up?

[frenchkissed]

Yeah? Yeah, we think so, too...

But it's been pretty cool, actually. Dylan's a cool kid. He's into Nirvana. Pink Floyd. Dismantling the patriarchy... We like him a lot. Sleeper's cool, too. We're still getting to know them, though.

[exasperation]

That's cool. It must be nice to gain more family.

Sounds like you're a family person too?

I mean, my parents are great. But I kept myself apart for. The reasons.

You ever thought to reach out?

I keep in touch with my folks, of course. But that's about it.
