What is an exorcist? Why would you need one for a light fixture?

an exorcist removes spirits or other incorporeal beings from where they ought not be. seeing as the light which came with my new dwelling might well draw in such a spirit, i thought it wise to inquire


also my brothers do enjoy tinkering with magical and potentially spiritual matters, i thought they would like to see it
