i am not certain what became of the previous owner, but i've yet to find pools of blood or ichor dripping from the walls so i believe things will be well

the youngest is especially taken with it, so i must count it a success

Then I do not think you need this exorcist. The piece is ornate, but not unpleasant to look at. It will certainly be a conversation starter.
