So out of curiosity is there like a mystical equivalent of an IP tracker for magic-related things?

Yeah well magic's not really my friend's forte unfortunately. But say there's like some leftover traces? Residual power or...whatever, is there a specific term for that? Not the main point though.

alternatively, there are charms you can use to track magical signatures

as long as it isn't like a person or whatever

We're trying to track down someone, obviously. I picked up some trace of her magic but that was some time ago and I don't know how long that kind of thing lingers.

Not long, unfortunately. While some sorcerers have magical signatures, the more powerful they are, the more likely they know how to disguise it.

I figured as much. And there's no doubting she's powerful.

Well, I did manage to get a bite and a potential workaround but even then, I'm not sure how well things'll pan out.
