So... A few things I've been sitting on.

First up, Who here comes from a world where superpowers are a totally normal thing, and who here knows the hero team, uh... [ a pause as he realizes that he should've probably decided on a team before opening up this post. ] "Avengers" and the term "Mutants"?

Secondly, "I was a Former Teen Hero slash child soldier slash wartime medic" and to everybody just now getting powers and thinking that its your duty to use them for other people - it's not. You didn't ask for these. Don't get yourselves killed trying to be a big shot, I've seen it way... way too many times.

[ a pause. josh runs his fingers through his hair and tips his head back, sighing. ]

Oh my god, I sound so old. Anyway, on that note... my name's Elixir. I have healing powers and I'm offering them to other metas. If you have any need of any medical care, especially like... specialized care due to meta physiology, hit me up.

I know both. Was an Avenger for a few months.

Mr. Stark told me once that being a superhero is like . . . my second job. My real job is being there for my friends and family.

[ Harry's interest is piqued by the mention of healing powers, because of course it is, but he isn't sure he wants to show his face online just yet. ]

We have a few people with powers, but I don't know either of those terms you said.

[ With that out of the way, on to his real reason for replying. ]

How does it work? Your healing powers.

Well, I am Loki, sworn enemy of the Avengers and honorary mutant.

And you do sound old, BTW.

Admitting you're not a teenager anymore doesn't make you sound old.

Having a mortgage made you sound way older.

I have heard some people talking about "Avengers" before. They seem very popular. [ unless everyone comes from the same place, then a lot of hero teams decided to call themselves that ]

I heard about the Avengers thing before! A hero team, right?

But anyway, they didn't exist in my world, but everyone had powers. We call 'em quirks.

How much are your healing powers capable of?

While we're at it, I don't know what the Avengers are. But I'm aware that there's a version of me in that world. I'm sorry if he's been a problem for you too, and I understand if you'd rather I leave you be.

[It feels a little overblown. Otto doesn't really like apologizing for his counterpart; he's done enough on his own without taking on responsibility for all alternate versions of himself, hasn't he? But after his experience with Peter...well, good god. Otto doesn't want to give anyone else another scare like that.]

And ... is this a check-in or should I brace myself for something a little less friendly?

And speaking as a current teen I totally asked for this and I think I'm doing just fine.

Totally normal is probably an overshoot, but it isn't completely unheard of in my world.
