So... A few things I've been sitting on.

First up, Who here comes from a world where superpowers are a totally normal thing, and who here knows the hero team, uh... [ a pause as he realizes that he should've probably decided on a team before opening up this post. ] "Avengers" and the term "Mutants"?

Secondly, "I was a Former Teen Hero slash child soldier slash wartime medic" and to everybody just now getting powers and thinking that its your duty to use them for other people - it's not. You didn't ask for these. Don't get yourselves killed trying to be a big shot, I've seen it way... way too many times.

[ a pause. josh runs his fingers through his hair and tips his head back, sighing. ]

Oh my god, I sound so old. Anyway, on that note... my name's Elixir. I have healing powers and I'm offering them to other metas. If you have any need of any medical care, especially like... specialized care due to meta physiology, hit me up.

[ Harry's interest is piqued by the mention of healing powers, because of course it is, but he isn't sure he wants to show his face online just yet. ]

We have a few people with powers, but I don't know either of those terms you said.

[ With that out of the way, on to his real reason for replying. ]

How does it work? Your healing powers.

[ osborn? might... just be a common name if fhe also doesn't know the avengers. his brows raise and then drop. ]

Biokinesis. I can sense and manipulate biological matter on a cellular level.

So. You could just... heal the diseased cells, just like that?

[ It sounds too good to be true. ]

[resurrxion]

Yeah. I mean, it depends on the illness, injury or disease. Sometimes it's better to kill the diseased cells and grow new ones in their place.

[nepotis]

Does it hurt?

[resurrxion]

I'm told it feels pretty euphoric, actually.

[nepotis]

Huh.

[ A pause, as he decides how much he wants to say. ]

With the powers I've been given, there's a way to cure my condition. But it's not permanent.

I'd be interested in seeing what you can do.

[resurrxion]

Sure. Do you want to meet up somewhere so I can take a look?

[nepotis]

Yeah. Do you have anywhere in mind? I'm still kind of new here.

[resurrxion]

Are you still in the hotel? 'cause we could probably grab a ballroom.

[nepotis]

Ballroom works. As long as we wouldn't be interrupted.

[ He wants as few people to see/know about his illness as possible. ]

[resurrxion]

No prob. Give me like a half hour, I'll text you when I'm set up.

[nepotis]

OK. I'll be waiting.

[resurrxion]

[ it takes a tiny bit of wrangling, but eventually josh secures himself a temporary workspace in one of the meeting rooms. once he's set up, he fires a text message to his patient to be and deactivates his holowatch ]

Meeting Room 1A.

[nepotis]

[ It would be a lie to say Harry didn't spend that half hour pacing his hotel room, holding onto his phone like a drowning man holds onto a life preserver. His anxious urgency is probably evident from the way he responds 0.1 seconds after getting "elixir's" message. ]

Be right there.

[ It takes him a couple minutes to get down to Meeting Room 1A, but soon enough he's rapping his knuckles against the closed door, checking over his shoulder to make sure no one is watching him. ]
