So... A few things I've been sitting on.

First up, Who here comes from a world where superpowers are a totally normal thing, and who here knows the hero team, uh... [ a pause as he realizes that he should've probably decided on a team before opening up this post. ] "Avengers" and the term "Mutants"?

Secondly, "I was a Former Teen Hero slash child soldier slash wartime medic" and to everybody just now getting powers and thinking that its your duty to use them for other people - it's not. You didn't ask for these. Don't get yourselves killed trying to be a big shot, I've seen it way... way too many times.

How easy is inter-city travel here?

Not that I'm suggesting relocating. I guess I don't really care about where I end up in particular. I just want to look around and figure out commuting if possible or need-be.

Not as easy as it was back home [ not 616, never 616 ] but they give you little handheld teleporters that can zap you back and forth from a city once a day if you sign up with a guild.

We could probably bribe David into science-ing our whole place into being just as gross and muggy as you like it.

Nah, they have some kind of fancy weather system that makes everything weirdly perfect.

Also: flying cars.

I never even got decent at driving a regular car.

I think so. I never got to fly the quinjet, so, why not fly a car? I can give you lessons.
