how do you do fellow kids?

my name is willa and i want you all to know what if you are injured and need a hand, you're free to call me instead of 911. i know it's wonderful to have a hot firefighter scoop you up and whisk you to an ambulance, but i'm a healer so i can also do that.

i probs cannot pick you up, actually and there are some caveats. i can and will heal a paper cut, but some things should be dealt with on your own i think. it's not noble to suffer but i don't want to put band-aid out of business, they will sue me. so use your best judgement.

second, much like the genie of the lamp, i can't bring people back from the dead. i'm not jesus. but a cut, a dismemberment, a stabbing, a shark bite, or perhaps you were gored by a minotaur because you didn't knock before going to the center of the maze. i'm you girl, that's me, your man in havana. [ included here is her phone number if anyone wants to TEXT HER instead of interacting with the post and just in case. ]

thirdly, does anyone remember 2001's ben foster vehicle get over it? bc i have the big red theme song stuck in my head battling with vitamin c's cover of captain & tennille's love will keep us together.

Believe it or not, not the worst retelling of Midsummer I've ever seen. And that includes the musical within the retelling of it all.

I saw this one production. It was in his little hole in the wall theater in London. Everyone was robots, except for the Fae, who were computer programmers? I think? Oddly, it worked for the iambic pentameter, but the costuming didn't allow the actors to move and the stage wasn't that steady and, well...

It didn't end well.

Oh, Bollywood with Midsummer would be so fun! The romance, the dancing! It would be so easy to get swept away.

it was very colorful and fun, which is how i've always imagined the play once the fairies come in
