what up it's ya boi dr kazemieras kent [who just misspelled his own name, what of it] & apparently working as a physician since i was 14 does NOT qualify me to live on my own according to the alliance & like laws & stuff without a lot of legal paperwork so they want to put me with a foster at least for now

so does anyone have like experience with that

they're giving me a couple placement options so i guess i have some choices but like am i probably still screwed orrr

Do not permit them to cut off your means of contact with the outside world. If this is through the Alliance, then they will likely want you to continue attending their school; that should allow you at least one space beyond the scrutiny of your foster parents.

If they harm you, seek help from outside the guilds.

idk I feel like people are overselling you on street life

and I grew up in an actual sewer

but I had a support system

I moved in with an adult I trust. since he’s alliance too they were fine with it. it’s probably the best option.

if you dont have anyone like that tho idk. not every foster family has to suck right?

I went through the foster system here. It's not the worst in my experience. Mildly better than being homeless was.

A tip if you do go that route; Keep a bag packed with supplies like clean clothes, food, toothbrush all that stuff, and maybe a spare phone and charger if you're feeling real paranoid. Try to keep it hidden. That way if things do go bad you can always make a quick escape.

i did also scouted out some places to hide out if worse ever came to worse, so if you ever do need it, or if you go with the streets option i can send you a list of those.
