oh yeah, that happens a lot! don't sweat it, it'll be weird at first, but people are pretty used to bonkers multiverse/timeline stuff by now. At one point there were like a dozen Spider-Men running around!

(that reminds me, there's a Dr Octavius here, but he's cool! he's from a universe where he wasn't a big jerk)

God, almost a year? I went back home for while once they got the teleporters up and running, but I got zapped back here after a couple weeks. Back home, I'd only been gone for a few seconds.

The Alliance set up teleporters and tried to send people home. Didn't really work, they could only send people back temporarily. Sometimes people get zapped back on their own, but nobody's figured out how to do it *intentionally* yet.

any idea who's in charge of the project?

Yeah, I think they were pretty embarrassed about the whole thing. They were all "hey, here's your ticket home, we figured it out!" and then had to take a step back and go "whoops, nevermind!"

I don't know specific names, but I think you'd be able to just go right to the Alliance headquarters and ask to speak to someone about the teleporters. They're pretty open about that stuff, at least.
