[But what she's really testing, really really testing - is to see if anybody knows who the heck she actually is. She's hoping, very much, that nobody has any clue, because that is a lot of freedom if so. Freedom to keep living high on the credit cards she's been given, that's for sure. Her first time out of the bunker, as it were, and she's figuring out how to live.]

[And if this is somehow a weird CADMUS loyalty test, or some version of them is around here, this should lure them out of the woodwork.]

Huh. Yeah, looking human doesn't mean that you are. So for proper etiquette and all that, what planet are you from, is it at war with any others, and are you the secret long-lost heir to two worlds? I'd like to know in advance this time. And do Earth-pronouns apply?

I don't personally lock up anyone. I help with the big fights, which seem to happen almost as regularly here as back home, but most of the time? I help people get their stuff back. Drag assholes away from the people they're bothering or attacking and punch them in the face as needed. If it's bad, then the justice system handles it.

[ Man, talking about this is not comfortable. It's the one part of this superhero gig that he hates. ]

I don't like the prison system. It's shit. The private ones violate prisoners' basic rights daily, but it's not like the government doesn't do that either. Maybe it's just my world that's fucked.

[ Kinda doubts it though, but there's the tiniest sliver of self preservation in tacking that on. ]

Nah, no heir or anything. Let's see. Came from Argo, moon of Krypton, was saved in a cryo-tube when Krypton exploded - and my cousin found me and I woke up on Earth. So I guess that's home now, so all pronouns apply?
