[She's arrived just before people started de-aging. Which is weird enough for her, and she's got a lot of questions about that. And about the sudden amounts of kiddies running around who oughtn't to be.]

[But what she's really testing, really really testing - is to see if anybody knows who the heck she actually is. She's hoping, very much, that nobody has any clue, because that is a lot of freedom if so. Freedom to keep living high on the credit cards she's been given, that's for sure. Her first time out of the bunker, as it were, and she's figuring out how to live.]

[And if this is somehow a weird CADMUS loyalty test, or some version of them is around here, this should lure them out of the woodwork.]

[Veeeery much a lie, but it's one that comes very naturally to her, and she's going to very carefully not examine the 'why' of that particular moment.]

Okay - all of this is a huge topic that probably will make weaker heads explode if I rushed it all out at the start. So we should start with two things: magic exists in this universe and definitely has something to do with the number of kids today, and two, does your world know about the multiverse?

Magic and multiverses, yep, with you so far.

[She folds her arms, waiting for him to arrive at something that resembles a point.]

So the kids are a magic thing. My money's on one of the Lokis. A bunch of people shrink down to middle school, and suddenly Loki's reminding them all they can eat candy with every meal? Nah, somebody's playing a real good trick.

[ As long as they're safe, which they seem to be, Tommy doesn't think it's worth the effort to try to order Loki to put them back. Doctor Strange or Billy will sort it out, or he'll get bored. Why stress about it? ]

And the multiverse is the rest of it. You've been ripped through space and time to a new universe, here's your cell phone, didn't anyone give you the spiel? I don't know exactly how much I need to cover, because most people only get confused by what's "new" to them. Fair warning though: if you're "new", you're a metahuman, aaaand let me tell you - if you had powers before, you can't assume that everything's the same way now. Try to figure that out before you flood your hotel room.

[And some of her more subtle powers aren't online, which this explains as well. But the main ones appear to be there, which is the important thing.]

But what the heck is a Loki, and why are we talking in plurals?

They weren't. I think it's random what you get, but what do I know. I just "work" here. I picked up some ice-powers when I got here. A+, goes great with superspeed.

Loki is a Norse god of mischief and a dozen different things that I haven't bothered to learn - sorry not sorry if you're listening, be a god of something easier next time. There's at least three of them here, and I'm going to chalk it up to the multiverse because resurrection or time travel's involved and I don't care.

You've got the Hot Loki, the Kid Loki, and Other Loki. The one who looks like Harry Styles is great. Kinda an asshole, but I'm saying that from the position of being kinda an asshole myself. Who isn't? Second favorite Loki's the young one. He makes me laugh so that's going to be fun to watch grow up from a safe distance. Don't know the other one. I think he does Shakespeare in the Park? He throws good parties though.

Well I won't be stuck for local theatre, I guess. I'd ask who Harry Styles is, but I don't think it matters - so, uh, why would they make people into kids? Isn't that kinda...y'know...stupid?
