Hey, so, uh, we were thinking about doing a Secret Santa thing, so... So, yeah, that's what this is.

Secret Santa is the thing where we put a whole buncha names into a hat, then everyone picks one, and then they gotta get a gift for that person. It's fun. Gets you thinking about other people and stuff.

BUT EDDIE! WHAT IF I DO NOT KNOW THE PERSON WHOSE NAME I HAVE RECEIVED?

Great question Venom, who totally wasn't put up to this. Uh... I dunno, that's just part of it. If you don't know them, this is a good time to get to know them.

Given that we're all spread out across four cities, two on opposite coasts, that's the biggest hurdle.

You can sign me up. Do we have a monetary limit..? I know you said 'reasonable' and 'affordable', but those mean different things for different people.

[This was not a tradition he was used to for Christmas. Granted, it' had been at least 50 years since he'd seen it celebrated, but his memory of it was not really a 'gift to strangers' thing. It was more of a 'lovers festival but winter themed'. He had also never celebrated it himself because it was a borrowed tradition and, having never had a lover prior to his first death, well...

Was this gift exchange a means of setting up random blind-dates? He really needed to do more research into this festival. He knew it was a cash cow for the season, but he'd otherwise been dismissing it.]
