Hey, so, uh, we were thinking about doing a Secret Santa thing, so... So, yeah, that's what this is.

Secret Santa is the thing where we put a whole buncha names into a hat, then everyone picks one, and then they gotta get a gift for that person. It's fun. Gets you thinking about other people and stuff.

BUT EDDIE! WHAT IF I DO NOT KNOW THE PERSON WHOSE NAME I HAVE RECEIVED?

Great question Venom, who totally wasn't put up to this. Uh... I dunno, that's just part of it. If you don't know them, this is a good time to get to know them.

Long story short, we want as many people on this thing as possible. So, like, let us know if you're up for it. And... let us know some gifts you might want. Doable gifts. Reasonable, affordable, doable gifts...

Nothing. I wonder if the real issue is that you're frightened... not that he's watching you, but that he will deem you naughty. Have you been good this year, Angela? Or did you make some unfair deals? Did you receive gifts without giving in return? Santa will know.

I only mean to say that everyone makes mistakes. I do not doubt that you've done your best to repay your debts, but it is possible that something slipped through the cracks. Someone could have sabotaged you as well.

I know that I am naughty, so I have no fear. In your case, it could go either way though, yes?

Even if Santa regards me as naughty, I need not heed his judgement. I know my own worth, and I know that I have repaid my debts.

No... In fact, Santa's got nothing to do with this.

This is just us imitating what it is that Santa does, without h actually bring Santa into the equation. Instead of waiting on his judgement, me and V decided that everyone is good and worthy of gifts. No Santa required. We're going grassroots.

Guess I just figured that we've all had it bad enough this year with all this anti-Meta stuff, and being taken from our homes, and being thrown around from universe=to-universe... Figured we could all use a gift or two to wrap up the year.

This would not be my first time participating in a Secretive Santa campaign. In the realm in which I was trapped previously, a man named Kris Kringle organized such an effort.

[ He also never clarified that Kris Kringle was not his actual name. Or that it's not called Secretive Santa. ]

Actually, Kris Kringle is another name for Santa Claus. An older one... there's history there but, yeah, they're the same person. Saint Nicolas, Kris Kringle, Santa Claus. It's just different names for the same dude.

So you've heard of him, it sounds like, even if you didn't realize it...
