[Over a course of a few days, Thor posts the following images to his social medias.]





[Eventually, a video recording will start to circulate. It features a very somber Thor, dressed in a suit with his hands folded professionally in front of him. He is standing in front of a wobbly powerpoint presentation which currently reads "VOTE THOR".]

Hello residents of Sunset Falls, friends of Sunset Falls. You might know me already-- if not, my name is Thor. I've been a resident of Sunset Falls for some time now-- [Thor flicks to a slide of him moving into Loki's apartment, with Loki looking less than impressed to be in the photo.]

And so I was interested when I heard of Mayor West's plight-- you may not know, but I've dabbled in a leader myself. I was Prince of Asgard for many years, recently promoted to king-- because my father died. Now, I'm the king of nothing-- because I'm here. But also because Asgard blew up. [Thor star swipes to a photo of an explosion. He looks perturbed, he definitely hasn't reviewed the slides.]

You may ask, "why would you admit that? will we explode if you are mayor?" and these are valid questions-- though you should know I blew Asgard up to save it. And you can trust that I am honest, unlike my campaign rival, who is also my roommate, who is also my brother--

Regardless, I don't think we need to blow up Sunset Falls to make it a better place to live. We need to focus on creating a safe, stable community with access to appropriate medical care and support services for its residents, a community free of fear and.. ghosts. [A slide of a ghost appears, again Thor seems perturbed by this.]

Thank you for your time and remember, a vote for Thor is a vote for one person. A vote for Loki opens the door to endless, terrible possibilities.

[There's a muffled sound and the camera abruptly shuts off.]

[ Peter asking the VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS here, since he is very shaky on his knowledge of what actually happened with Asgard. This is one area his knowledge is often lacking because who would have told him? And when? And why? ]

I probably shouldn't even get into this, but I have a feeling that Asgard things run a little differently, um, sir.

[Thor has... not been back to Earth in a very long time but is socially adept enough to know that Peter is talking to him like they know each other which is extremely possible.

Yes, Patrick. I did. [Solemnly.] But I brought it's people to Earth. Well. That's what I was doing before I got here-- [He cuts himself off when he realises that's a bad PR move.]

There are so many of us from realms outside of Earth, perhaps they need an outsider to shake things up. Unless you're offering your advice, that is.

Let me get this straight. You're Thor. You blew up Asgard. And you want to be mayor of what is probably the Amityville Horror House of this place. Not only all of that, but you're running against one of the Lokis.

I'd say that all sounds crazy, but, ya know, sounds par for the course back home.
