So, things have been a little heated between the metas and the non-metas from the sounds of it. For good reason. Powers are really dangerous, and it kind of seems like everywhere we go, worlds literally seem to fall apart...

...Which isn't great.

People are, like, disappearing into other dimensions. I don't know what the fuck that's about, and hell if I know how to fix it.

But... I think it could be worth trying to fix things with the people who're afraid of us... Or hate us, but those ones might take a little more work to get through.

I don't see why we can't do this Coyote Ugly style and hold a Date-A-Meta Auction? Y'know, spend a day with a local so they get to see we aren't so bad?

Or each other, if you want.

Bid on whoever.

Plus all the proceeds would go to restoration projects to get the cities back in order. So it's a win-win.

Not to be discouraging, but I doubt the people who hate metas will be the ones bidding to spend the day with one.

Yeah, no, I don't think so, either... Not, like, the ones who're hella on the deep end with their hatred. But maybe we draw in a few people who're on the fence, right? And they have a good time, so they tell their friends, who tell their friends, and we start a ripple of positivity?

I mean, it'd be nice. But there's no telling how it'll go in reality. We might get torches and pitchforks.

I'm afraid I don't. Not on that scale, at least. To tell the truth, I've been trying to stay out of the public eye when I can.

Uh, yeah... It's a little hard for us to lie low, given what I do for work and the whole 12-foot-tall thing V has going on, but we get you. We were like that too, back home.

...Don't think I ever got around for thanking you for helping out back in Excelsior when you did, either. You did a lot of good.
