So, things have been a little heated between the metas and the non-metas from the sounds of it. For good reason. Powers are really dangerous, and it kind of seems like everywhere we go, worlds literally seem to fall apart...
...Which isn't great.
People are, like, disappearing into other dimensions. I don't know what the fuck that's about, and hell if I know how to fix it.
But... I think it could be worth trying to fix things with the people who're afraid of us... Or hate us, but those ones might take a little more work to get through.
I don't see why we can't do this Coyote Ugly style and hold a Date-A-Meta Auction? Y'know, spend a day with a local so they get to see we aren't so bad?
Or each other, if you want.
Bid on whoever.
Plus all the proceeds would go to restoration projects to get the cities back in order. So it's a win-win.

Date auctions aren't, like, auction auctions. It's just a way to fundraise.
It's like paying money to spend time with someone for a day, and then all of the money goes to charity. No one is being sold.

[That does make this plan marginally better, and in even better news, it also means it isn't something anyone has to die over for even proposing it in the first place. Not that either of those things meant Nox was particularly sold on it yet.]
So, to summarize, rather than just allowing people to donate the money, you want to add extra steps that introduce the risk of allowing anyone currently hostile towards us to get a few of us alone and isolated.
