I'm looking to sell some feature stories to local papers. At least until I have enough momentum to get a regular column started.

So, if anyone's got a crazy story and feels like sharing it, I'm your guy.

Probably won't be much more than an origin story, what your powers are like, a few photos, maybe a bit about your hobbies... those kinds of questions. Don't feel like this is a job interview or anything. It's all about you, so just tell me whatever and we'll see if we can't make a story out of it.

Also, we sorta need a place to live.

Pros:
- Good with pets.
- Good at cleaning. And cooking.
- Probably gonna stay out of your way, for the most part.

Cons:
- SORT OF A LOSER.
- CANNOT WATCH HORROR MOVIES.
- TERRIBLE AT SINGING.
- Comes with an alien.

Yeah, back home I was. Haven't done much reporting since we got here, though. Too busy dealing with superhero things, I guess. That stuff's pretty time consuming, apparently?

Sounds like a good news package. Can you say what kind of festival it was, or is that also on the down-low?

I have a lot of stories to tell, and I have been told that some of them are crazy.

How do the both of you feel about horses?

Crazy is pretty subjective, but anything that relates the the world outside of this place is bound to get some readers. People want to know about where we come from, you know?

I'm from New York. I've never... encountered... a horse. Do they kick?

They only kick if you're rude. But I can help you get on their good side. I have an extra bedroom, and it is yours for as long as you like--but I will need help with the horses. And cooking.

( crazy by his scale might be a little off as of these past few months, but he spent the majority of his life as just some regular-ass dude, so he still got a good meter for when things are Not Normal. )

Horses. All right. How many horses are we talking?

venom was pretty good when they'd had chickens, so he's sure he can be nice to horses. and not eat them. or attempt to eat them. or possess them. or attempt to possess them.

There three horses, all rather gentle. We can introduce the two of you to them first, to see if you'll get along.

If the ranch doesn't work out, there's room at the manor.

We're still a little iffy on the Guilds... still trying to figure out their intentions, I guess, but it's still a good option. Guess we just need to do more research.

which is fair? but the aliance has been super nice to me
they gave me a house and an allowance and i go to school and sometimes they ask us for help but thats it

My majority of my life has been a series of crazy stories. But just how believable they'd be to anyone on this world, I couldn't say.

Ashaa's is probably the strangest. So if you'd prefer to hear that first, just to see if anything else might be of any use, I have no objections.



And, for what it's worth, I'm probably one of the few people here accustomed to living with aliens. I can't promise comfortable accomodations, but it's better than nothing. Assuming you don't get a better offer.

Ashaa is a person..?

Not quite.

Ashaa is an artificial intelligence created by the Rakata during one of the earliest knwon eras of our galaxy's history. She was also apparently responsible for creating several of the sentient species that populated it, as well. She didn't mention humans by name, but considering she was able to repair the damage to my body and modify my genetic code easily enough, I wouldn't be surprised if we were one of her creations as well.

According to her, they were all created in an attempt to resolve why the Rakata could no longer use the Force. When that still wasn't solved, each of the races she'd created were enslaved by the Rakata. She wasn't very pleased by that.

[He did warn that he had crazy stories, so, do with "that time I met space god and she was a computer program" what you will, Brock.]

And, since you seem to believe I wasn't being serious: There are a little less than 20 million sentient species in the galaxy. My galaxy, anyway. And several dozen quadrillions of sentient inhabitants, spread across nearly a billion star systems.

I'm quite accustomed to aliens. I'd even be willing to bet I've met more aliens than you have people.
