I offered what I offered because people hate math and always need tutoring in it, and science seemed like a good extension. I don't have time to be pedantic about Shakespeare and I'm not stupid enough to try to teach history in a world I'm not from.

PS: Most superhero stories have teen geniuses who are almost supernaturally skilled at science and math. I wouldn't be surprised if this world has its own fair share. Conversely, no one's ever granted powers that make them really good at closing arguments.
