[ Would you look at that, it's Dr. Strange. He's dressed in his trusty blue uniform robes in an effort to look like somebody who knows what he's talking about, and the Cloak hovers in the background just over his right shoulder to add some additional authenticity. Those who were inside it recently might recognise the drawing room of a certain house, looking a little less moth-eaten than the last time it was overrun with metas, save for a couple of lingering dust sheets and the ominously dark corner where burning amber symbols sear into the black. ]
My name is Dr. Stephen Strange. I'd like to issue a reminder to those of you unfamiliar with it that magic is not a toy, or to be used lightly by those with minimal experience.
If you come across a magical artifact, relinquish it to somebody who knows what they're doing. If you notice something that might be a spell scribbled on a stall wall, do not start reading it aloud. Magic may be more accessible here than in some worlds, but that doesn't make it any safer to interact with untrained. If you don't understand it, leave it alone or speak to someone who does.
If you have questions or run into problems that you believe to be of a magical, mystical or otherwise arcane nature and you don't have a sorcerer on speed dial, you can contact me at this account.
Be safe, be sensible, and if you're interested in magic do yourself a favor and read some theory before you attempt to practice.

Between them they ought to give you a basic understanding of the known magicks at play in this world, popular magical terminology amongst various magical communities, and how not to pick up an object that's going to curse you.
