When Fantastic was that creature he was connected to some kind of tether. It might have been magical, or something like that, since it didn't follow any typical physical laws.

The tether disappeared up in the sky, so I can't be sure what it was connected to. Probably that fucking 'god,' though.

Not this exactly, but something adjacent in the way that I'd categorize them both as mystical or magical, or at least non-scientific.

It's hard to explain. There's shit that follows physical laws I'm familiar with, that's no problem. There's shit that supposedly still follows physical laws, but I haven't encountered it before.

Then there's everything else, magic and whatever, which follows completely different rules. It's like a goddamn black box compared to the other two.

I've known a number of gods in my day and I'll admit, never seen a tether like that. It's still concerning. And what was said scares me too.

Last place that kidnapped me like here, it was distorted when there were too many people like the Starfallen in one area. Feels like this 'higher power' is just as displeased to see us as that place was.

I'm sure we haven't seen the last of this.
