Notes: Courtesy of David, this video is posted under a variety of anonymous throwaway accounts that are nigh-impossible to track, on basically every platform you can name. WOM.bat simply has a URL where the video can be downloaded, shared in the Fantastic Sucks board.

[The camera is focused on a man people may recognize from Fantastic's June announcement about a hypnotist manipulating Starfallen into acting as villains without their knowledge: the Fixer. While he looks a little worse for wear after his time in hiding, he isn't sporting any injuries beyond a few minor bruises.

Those asking him questions are off-camera, their voices altered.

After the full interrogation, a certain narrative becomes clear:

Fantastic hired the Fixer. They intentionally targeted Starfallen, using them to carry out staged attacks for Fantastic to thwart. This enabled him to elevate his image and dethrone Atomight from the Alliance. Once he achieved this goal, Fantastic threw the Fixer under the bus (which the Fixer seems especially and genuinely bitter about).

While this may not be surprising to a lot of people, they didn't have the proof before, and it makes Fantastic's hypocrisy for claiming to be working towards the safety of Starfallen excedingly clear.]

[ loki crosses his arms, considering his response. ]

The Oracle gave him visions of his sister. He had asked for help. I said I could, but to be careful. To not trust the Oracle and the Ancient.

[ he exhales softly. ]

Then he told me I was a bad friend. For not supporting him, for not being happy for him.

An odd accusation for him to make. You were offering support.

Apparently it wasn't good enough.

It's never good enough. And I'm tired of not being good enough.

You are good enough.

[He squeezes Loki's hand.]

...this David speaks highly of you. But I understand if you can't trust it, in his case.

[dothelokimotion]

[ he sighs. ]

I'm just tired of trying. Even the ones I made here, they're all gone.

I wouldn't want you to give up on it.

[He hesitates]

...that was where I was.

In truth, I don't know how. I know I'll keep trying. I'll keep thinking, this time, this time, it'll be different.

Then they'll give up on me.

But maybe they won't.

I won't.

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki sighs, squeezing sephiroth's hand. ]

I don't know, Sephiroth.

[unkindled_madness]

You are worth caring for. I can't be the only one who ever see it.

[dothelokimotion]

[ he just . . . doesn't know. sephiroth loves him, he has no doubt of that. but nothing else have ever happened like them. they're either gone or they gave up on loki.

even his family gave up on loki. what is he supposed to think? how is he supposed to find that hope?

instead he just leans against sephiroth. ]

[Sephiroth folds his arms around him, because that's what's important right now. He can't offer promises about anyone else. He could be wrong. It could be only them.

But that doesn't make any sense to him. Loki is the best choice he's ever made. Surely others will be able to see it, too.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki shudders for a moment, soaking it in before finally exhaling quietly, letting it go. ]

We can table it for now. What are your plans for the Fixer?

[unkindled_madness]

...we did agree to release him. But I don't intend to keep the spirit of that promise.

The others... should have some say, however.

[dothelokimotion]

Let them have their say and we can decide.

You can always kill him later. I can place a tracking spell. No one needs to know.

My thoughts exactly.

It's probably best it happens quietly anyway, once he's been forgotten.

Then we'll see to it. But for now, let us milk the outrage and lets others weigh on their vengeance.

[He nods.]

Hopefully, it's quite a bit of outrage.

It's hard to say with humans. I blew up their city and a few years later, I was visiting like nothing ever happened and no one noticed.

I imagine they were at least upset while you were blowing up the city?
