What's an angel?
I mean, I looked it up, and it looks like it's some kind of religious thing? But the information doesn't always match, and people keep asking me if I am one, so...I don't know.

[ Nico doesn’t quite understand the confusion. ]
So it would be a good credential.

Wait, can you raise the dead?

I don't know what Jesus or Lazzaro or Bible or Catholic are.
[And it all sounds really complicated, so he's not sure he cares!]
And if you can't do it, then why'd you bring it up?
[Sorry, Nico, you're going to have to explain the joke.]

Catholic means Catholicism. It’s Christianity but older. They believe Jesus is the Son of God, but not a demigod, and also God. The same one. The Bible is their holy book.
Ge- Jesus raised Lazzaro from the dead, but in the Bible, everyone gets raised from the dead alive and whole and perfect. Does that answer everything?

[That is the slow, careful okay of someone who definitely listened and definitely didn't retain any of what they just heard. Evidently this particular religion is really complicated and involves people coming back from the dead a lot.]
[Speaking of:]
Almost everything - why'd you bring it up?
[Because given this conversation, the implication is that Nico can raise the dead, and now that that thought is in his head, he really needs to know for sure whether that's the case or not.]

He doesn't even bother to name the link; it's just the URL. ]

[It's a whole lot of noise. More implications with nothing solid. A puzzle he doesn't have the time, patience, or context for.]
[So he finally comes back to his post and sighs.]
Can you just tell me?

[ He can’t just tell you. It’s an odd thing to just say in public. ]

[ He has not been able to completely choose the “just don’t talk to people” option in quite some time. ]

[His tone is gentle. He knows what it's like to feel like you have to answer questions; he also remembers how he felt when Mark respected that boundary and didn't push him. The least he can do is extend that to Nico.]

I already said the first one. I don’t need you making decisions for me.
[ He’s in charge, thank you. ]

I'm not. I just wanted to make sure you knew that was an option.
[In a separate, there-and-then-gone comment, he leaves Nico his phone number.]
