What's an angel?

I mean, I looked it up, and it looks like it's some kind of religious thing? But the information doesn't always match, and people keep asking me if I am one, so...I don't know.

He’s helped demigods on their quests, and Lester-Apollo on his. He’s certainly performed tasks for Hades and Persephone, but those could kindly be described as chores. ]
