[Bouncing Boy appears on screen, in full costume. His goggles are pulled down over his eyes like they have been since he first got here. The yellow lens has been with a reflective one of the same color.

Secret identities aren't really a thing for the Legion, with codenames mostly being a thing to honor the heroes that came before, but something feels off about this whole sprocking situation feels off. Chuck's not giving the Guilds anything they can use against him until after he's gotten a clear lay of the land.]

Hey there folks, I'm Bouncing Boy, and I'm from the 31st century. Not this universe's 31st century, my universe's 31st century.

I'm just here to introduce myself. That and ask if anyone here's knows about the Legion of Superheroes.

Aside from the thing with the Starros a couple years back, but we took care of that pretty quickly.

So, how do you know about the Legion? Because I'm guessing you're not from my time.

Time travel. I got blasted into the future.

Probably should've expected something like that.

You've been here longer than I have, right? Something about the Guilds rubs me the wrong way, but I don't know if that's just me being too used to how the Legion does things or something else.

By a month. Don't expect any in depth analysis from me.

But yeah, it feels very structured and by numbers. The fact that you get paid for it is bizarre too.

It's not so much any of that that's bugging me?

Depending on how you look at all of this we're either refugees victims of a natural disaster. Or both.
And yet they're effectively drafting us.

Sure, they're not pushing as hard as they could, but...

[Chuck trails off trying to figure out how to put his feelings about all this into the right words.]

Okay, look, you're a Green Lantern. Your thing is willpower. Lots of willpower. Mine? I got the power to inflate into a ball and immediately decided to try and join the Legion. Even after getting rejected four times.

Throw us out on the street without any documentation and we'll deal okay because we really don't give up easy.

Not everyone's built that way, and the people who aren't are the ones I'm most worried about.

I'm not disagreeing, but do you have a plan?

Not yet, but I'm good at improvising.

[He's not entirely kidding, really. He'd come up with two workable plans to destroy a Sun-Eater in the space of a day.]

Seriously, though, I do have a couple ideas to get some cash to live off of.

[Mostly pool-hustling, to start. His skill with calculating trajectories doesn't just come in handy when using his powers.]

Nothing I'm up for sharing here. Secret identities usually aren't a thing for the Legion, but it seems like it might be a good idea here.

Anything more than achieving some kind of financial stability is gonna have to wait for a bit, though.

It seemed like a reasonable assumption, Anon Kid. Most of the people I've seen on here seem to be from a roughly similar time period. Aside from a couple outliers, anyways.

Any reason in particular? Beyond the whole drafting people who are effectively refugees thing, I mean. Because that one's already bothering the sprock out of me.

I think the human and civil rights violations are enough. Anything else starts veering into the subjective, and opinions can tell as much about me as the people I have opinions about.

Depends on how you define a post-apocalypse. It's not deserts, spikes, and skulls everywhere, but we did have one.

It was centuries ago, though, and we've rebuilt everything bigger and better since.
