So say hypothetically an encounter with a strange Meta you don't know led to you teleporting into the middle of what looks to be a barren wasteland in the middle of what your GPS says is some sort of canyon in Arizona.
And say that hypothetically you aren't equipped to get back to civilization at the moment and the next town is something like an hour and a half walk away.
And hypothetically you don't have water on you or food.
Um, how would you get out of this situation?

Suit yourself. You said the town is like an hour and a half away, right. So start walking I guess?

I am in the process of that. But the gps may be overestimating my abilities here. And it's a tiny town. And I really don't have tons of money to spare for a flight back.
So, you know, USEFUL advice would be nice.

So it takes you longer than an hour and a half to get there. Better than dying in the middle of a desert. Useful advice: the human body can survive about 3 days without water. Keep to the shade and watch for signs of dehydration and heat stroke. If there are cactus around you can drink the water inside, but you need to boil it first or you could poison yourself. Don't eat the flesh of a cactus. It could make you vomit and lose more water. Travel the most during dawn and dusk and try to find shelter during the middle of the day and overnight. Build yourself a fire at night if you can.

That is vaguely more useful. I'm walking. Hopefully it's not a ghost town.
no subject
if it is, try to avoid the ghosts.
no subject
Ghost aren't real don't fuck with me
no subject
They don't exist here? That's great! Ghosts are scary.
no subject
They better not exist. Fuck I don't want them to exist. Ghosts, please don't exist.
no subject
Don't tell me they don't exist and then immediately say you don't know if they exist or not!
no subject
LOGICALLY ghosts should not fucking exist. But in this hypothetical situation they might well fucking exist because hypothetically my luck blows.
no subject
well if it's a ghost town and there's ghosts say something. i want to know.
no subject
Yeah if I get out of here I doubt I'll be sharing details of this.

Not really all that new but thanks

Which means you couldn't have been here in March, and you likely weren't here for April, either. Not unless the Alliance was somehow able to prevent anyone from talking about the previous month's confluence.

Which is why, hypothetically, if such a person were to be stranded in the desert I wouldn't hesitate to leave them there.

Loki has hired you?

Yeah. He's taking me on as social media manager. Barely even looked at my pictures. Said you mentioned me.
It was one of the weirdest conversations of my life, but I'm actually excited by this and I CANNOT FUCK IT UP this soon!

I did mention you to him. He didn't seem terribly familiar with photography.
I would offer to assist you, but I've already used his teleporter for the day.
no subject
Do the teleporters even take you to non-Guild Approved cities?
no subject
I believe so. They're simply limited in their frequency of use.
