Howdy, Heroes! good eVening, Villains! it's your resident Gwenpool, checking in with a question for all you fine folks who've been yanked here willy-nilly from across the multiverse!

WHAT'S YOUR HOME LIKE? and also, slightly more importantly: WHERE ELSE HAVE YOU BEEN?

it's come across my radar that there are a few others of us out there for whom this isn't their first extra-universal rodeo, so to speak. not their first time crossing the streams. not their first trip to another world, is what I'm saying. so if you fit that definition, I want you to come talk to me! tell me all about the world you come from, the other world(s) you've been to, what they were like, how you got there.

if anyone who's smarter than me wants to take note of all this and maybe do some research on what the common elements are in these collected stories, by all means, be my guest!
as for me, I'm mostly just curious.

oh yeah, crazy $#%@ happens all the time on Earth-616. we've got mutants, mutates, inhumans, aliens, gods, wizards, demons, vampires, ghosts... you name it!

We don't have any of that. Unless I just don't know about them, which is certainly possible.

[He can't really prove a negative! But if there are ghosts or aliens, they certainly aren't as well-known as they seem to be in her world. Peter probably would have known; watch Peter have fought an alien ghost or something after he died.]

We have Spider-man.

yeah, I kind of figured as much. typically when a universe has an Otto Octavius, it also has a Spider-Man.
one of those universal constants. I guess.

Are there any other constants like that?
I had an old friend named Curt Connors in my world. He was doing perfectly well, the last I saw of him, but I met another who was...not.
I'd like to know how worried I should be.

[He doesn't bring up Norman. He wants to know, but if it's what he expects, he's not going to just tell all and sundry that Norman's here.]

[ Ohhhhhh, okay. This Doc Ock comes from a universe where Curt Connors isn't the lizard, then he's gotta be Raimiverse? ...But he met another universe's Curt Connors? What kind of crossover shenanigans have the movies been getting up to while Gwen's been in the comic books? There's no way Marvel abandons the MCU to revive Raimiverse over a decade later, so... Did they bring Raimiverse (and Webbverse) characters into the MCU?

Gwen almost wishes she could have seen this movie. ]

WELL I MEAN... if you're specifically worried about the Curt Connors from your universe, I think you don't have anything to worry about. history there is sort of settled.
but Curt Connors does become a villain in other universes, yeah.

[Ah. Well. The prognosis may not be great for other universes' Curts, but he already knew that. It still settles a lingering fear, to know that his own friend might be okay.]

Curt is a good man. He doesn't deserve any of this.

[Good or not, Otto knows it easily could have happened regardless. But at least it seems like one of their old cohort got out with his life and sanity.]
