[It's the first sign anyone may have seen of Five in the past week. He's not dealing well with the loss of his sister, and the last member of his family in this world. It's only made his ever-present ongoing obsession with finding a way home worse. He may or may not respond to comments here- but his CR are more than welcome to invite themselves over and check on him~]

Pretentious people don’t say they’re pretentious. They write 47 haiku about they’re not pretentious that all end with “I am just that cool”.

I’m not really a haiku kind of guy, personally.

Right. But I already said I’m not a haiku guy. I thought my opinion on the matter was pretty clear.

You can not a haiku guy in different ways. You can just not read poetry. You can read poetry but not like haiku. Or you can have such deep, spiritual loathing of the haiku format that a five syllable sentence makes you have to remind yourself that murder isn't an option.

Most humans aren't that amoral. I thought that started with an I, but the phone isn't changing it like does other words? I don't know.

If they had less morals, the Fields of Punishment would be more crowded.

Most, maybe. But it’s not impossible. Technology, what can you do?

You like Greek mythology?

Throw it against a wall and go back sending actual letters?

I used to. Now it's just knowledge.

I used to play a game called Mythomagic when I was a kid. So I knew the major and lesser gods and most of what you’d call the mythological creatures?

I just figured you might have a more interesting story than that. With the number of worlds represented here, it's not a stretch to assume that what was once mythology, became knowledge because you tripped into a cave on a hunting trip and discovered all those old Gods were actually still kicking.

Sounds like the sort of thing most people wouldn’t believe.

But if the gods WERE around

why would you find them in a cave on a hunting trip? Some of them have jobs. You think Apollo can just go on vacation?

This world is full of people with lives most people wouldn’t believe. Doesn’t make any of our lives any less true.

I don’t know. I pulled something outta my ass, kid. Don’t nitpick, it’s not cute.

Yeah but I'm starting to realize this world isn't full of a magical mist that keeps people from seeing things that they won't believe. I don't really know what that... means, I guess.

And I wasn't nitpicking, and I don't care if I'm cute. They don't live in caves, and Apollo has to get someone to cover for his duties.

Have you been to Sunset Falls? Because that definitely sounds like something that might exist there, honestly.

Massachusetts. It’s probably listed in them? To be honest, I didn’t pay attention to the pamphlets when I got here, I already knew where I was going to be regardless.

[Wherever his siblings decided to settle, because like hell was he going to let them out of his sight. That’s the only reason he’s in Excelsior now.

And now he’s the only one left. The irony is not lost on him, there.]

No.
My siblings were here. There was nowhere else for me to go, except wherever they decided to settle.

Oh. That would make it easy, but mine isn't here either. I can figure it out in case she gets dropped into the ocean too. She'll probably show up with an entire legion and drag me home.
