Notes: NSFW! Basically this post is a big Chuck Tingle joke (some images under the cut). But heads up! Jaskier's still amazed at the freedom this world's modern society has, so if your character asks him about his own world, please keep in mind that subjects of homophobia, fantasy racism, and censorship/book burning may come up. There's also an IC jab towards the church. I'm fine with teenagers tagging in, and any adult is free to threadjack to "protect" them (or threadjack in general, really, go nuts). (Also, blame Harry Osborn for this.)
Since my arrival in this realm, I've been nothing but (pleasantly!) astonished by the sexual freedom this so-called modern society prides itself on. Men openly flirt with me, women wear dresses that don't reach their knees, and there are entire stores dedicated to bawdy paraphernalia. The creativity is outstanding! I can access whole catalogs of these lewd movies in my pocket! Obscene songs play while you shop! Erotica is casually read during lunch breaks! Part of me is dying to know if there are priests out there with a forehead vein about to pop, but alas, to find out I would have to talk to them.
That said... the reason why I'm posting is to request clarification, mayhap for a social context I may lack. No matter how open-minded I may be, some things are still beyond my comprehension.

If someone can enlighten me by answering the simple question of what the fuck is this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

At some point it's going to be impossible to read anything, which feels like a better goal.

They are short stories. The entire point of this exercise is to read them to then drink in order to forget the mental images. Unless you want me to tell you ALOUD and in DETAIL what Cirilla's father looked like before his curse was broken.

I think I can venture a fairly strong guess.

You know curses, do you think Cirilla will grow spines too?

Unless it was a curse specifying his descendants, then no, I think she'll be spared her father's prickly nature.

Literal pricks? Good to know. Metaphorically prickly, though? Her new daddy has that nature as well, please don't let him teach her to communicate in only grunts.

There are some aspects of her upbringing that are simply beyond my ability to control, and whether Geralt's influence holds any weight over her behavior is among them.

[The second text takes a while to arrive. Why is everything always so complicated between these two? And how does he always find himself picking up the pieces of the ways they keep breaking each other? He would've thought getting along with Yennefer now made things easier, but leave it to them to choose this moment to fuck things up the fuckiest so far.]
If she ever starts eating whole sticks of butter, Queen Calanthe will literally rise from her grave and kill you both.

[ surprising absolutely no one in this conversation, geralt is still a complex subject to speak on, and the fact that yennefer has only reduced her thoughts on him to sparing mentions is a strong indication of that. ]
Based on what I've heard of the woman, she would find a way to defy necromancy to return on her own terms.

[Not gonna complain about dancing the topic of Geralt, but thank Melitele he added those wine bottles to his cart.]
That does sound like her. Is necromancy something we need to keep an eye out for? I'm not sure the princess has been processing her grief well.
[And he isn't sure witchers ever allowed themselves to grieve, he wants to add, but hey, let's keep the dance going.]

Not to my knowledge, but there's no telling what the extent of power here truly is. If they can bring any of us, there's every possibility that the Lioness of Cintra could make an appearance.
