We’ve been chasing this story for a few weeks now.
Seemingly out of nowhere, this mysterious lair started appearing all over social media, and now everyone's in a frenzy to find it.
So, what's it all about, right? Is this a bunker piled high with… with untold riches? Probably not. Billion-dollar companies don’t just jump ship from their investments and leave said investments open for the public to go scavenging through. More than likely, the rumors stirring around this place are all a red herring. Y’know, something to distract us all from what’s really going on.
Superhero disappearances, increased poverty rates, distrust between those with superpowers and those without… There’s a growing class difference. This City of the Future, Excelsior, we like to think it’s so much different from a place like Central City, with the grittiness, and the seediness, and the crime, but it’s not. It’s really not.
( when they come across a particularly imposing path lodged full of debris, viewers can watch live as eddie suits up fully into venom and goes about digging the alcove free. )
DO NOT GROW DISTRACTED BY TECHNOLOGICAL GURUS AND SILLY HIPSTERS WITH THEIR LONG BEARDS AND THEIR HIGHLY EXPENSIVE COFFEE.
THERE ARE THOSE AT THE TOP WHO GROW RICH, AND THERE ARE THOSE AT THE BOTTOM WHO STRUGGLE.

It's just a hunch.
We lose more and more people each month, it seems. To date, I think I can count at least... maybe thirteen. Probably more that I don't even know about. I thought Clint was one of them for a bit, but he's here.
...If nothing else, putting this to rest can get people focused on the things that really matter. Like our missing friends.
