My name is Lyserg Diethel and I have just arrived in this world. I was wondering if any of you would be so kind as to share the year it was in the world you came from? It seems that I've found myself roughly twenty years into the future and I'm curious to know if that's true for anyone else.

Additionally, if any of you have information about the outcome of a global tournament which took place on January 2000? The world history here doesn't align with what I know to be true back home and I need to know who came out the victor.

There are over a dozen officially recognized calendars in use throughout the galaxy, even more unofficial ones, and it's a headache to make sense of even for those of us who have a known timeline to work with. And that's just the galaxy I'm from.

Hey, Lyserg. It’s 2022 in my world, so it’s the year isn’t a shock for me, but my entire hometown doesn’t exist here. I get how it can be a lot to take in. I’ve been here for a month, and it’s still strange.

It was 2023 for me so I'm just a little behind here, but not much. 20 years seems like a big adjustment, though! That's, like, longer than my whole life.

I don't think there was any sorta global tournament in 2000 where I'm from. Is there some kind of game you play? Like the Olympics or video games or something?

It has been rather jarring, I won't lie. Cellphones have grown so powerful. It's hard to believe they're the same device that I'm used to.
