I do expect some level of care. No shorts or very loose clothing.

In my experience "music" can mean a lot of different things to different people. What kind of music will this be?

According to the repository of music available . . . Waltzes and slow jazz primarily.

I believe I will attend in that case. Is there particular customary attire for such an occasion? I admit I am not particularly knowledgeable about the fashion here.

This place is modelled after Earth. Surely you're familiar?

Most of my time spent on Earth has been in uniform, though I understand that one can default to a suit, tuxedo or "little black dress" depending on the formality of occasion. Am I correct in assuming a tuxedo is the correct read of "fancy"?

It would be suitable.

You could wear your homeworld's clothing too.

I will consider it. How much of your own culture's influence will be present?

Probably some of the decorations and structure of the theatre. In the party itself? Not much.

I have some costume sketches for other stuff if you want them. Can't sew that great though, so you'd need someone else for that.

All kinds. I'm not interested in defining my theatre in a singular genre.

I have a lot of superhero uniforms and renaissance-type pieces so I wasn't sure if they'd be helpful at all.

If you don't mind them being repurposed, they would be welcomed.
