I'm surprised, though. Spider-Man's enemies never seem to last that long.

It definitely was strange, to learn that real superheroes existed, but there's always any number of people who are better than you at any number of things. It's foolish to pretend otherwise.
Though I suppose a man like that rarely has his ego challenged.
