It is. Both from rooftop and street level.

I like it better from above. It feels… freer? Less oppressed. Skyscrapers weigh down a city, and the North-south streets are always enshadowed.

Not at night. Then everything’s neon and halogen and pockets of darkness.

It's good to be down among the people living in the city, not just flying overhead.

I don't think I'm above them. Metaphorically. Literally I am.

I just meant the view is good from both angles.

It's quieter above though.

Closer inspection reveals that the steel trees of Central City are home to all manner of birds, resplendent in their plumage.

Bolder birds do well to remember that the wilds of Central City are truly wild, and the city is not without its predators hidden in the alleys.

They are not without their own defenses, however.

The Robin is indeed the cleverest of birds, sharper-eyed than the eagle and the early-bird who gets the worm. A symbol of spring and hope.

I'm not publicly sharing the location because I don't want to encourage non-metahumans to try to get the same shot.

That makes a lot of sense. I'd be worried that some people would still get the information from the image alone. Some people are scary smart with the internet.
