Hello, again. I returned home and then was drawn back here what appears to be over a year of your time later.
If anyone can direct me to where to find Logan, David, Josh, and-or Bruce, if they are still here, I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone recognizes the names of Krakoa or the X-Men from back home, please get in touch with me, too.
For those who don't fall into either of those first two categories, my name is Jean Grey, and I originally arrived with the first batch of people to come to this world. As I don't yet know if anyone I was with is still here, I'd love an update on the status of this place.

We'll devise a way to keep track of who comes and goes. Don't worry.
[ Ororo felt confident in that, at least. There's whispers of needing closer monitoring - she wanted to be sure everyone they knew was accounted for, whether they wer on the same side, or not.
In any case, she makes it to Central Park shortly and lands in a thicket of trees. Mostly so she can make the rest of the way to where the Treehouse would be on foot. She peers around for that familiar shock of red hair, the comforting mindtouch of the first telepath she'd ever willingly let into her mind. ]
Where are you, my friend? It's been too long. [ Even back home - she was literally a planet away. She hadn't seen Jean in quite a while. ]

The park comes into view, and she glides through the trees, honing in closer and closer on the the space where Ororo's thoughts and feelings originate. There's even the faintest flood of amusement when the last question comes, and without needing to be given a specific Jean only slows as she glides directly toward Ororo, rather than setting down and walking, aimed for a hug. A single spoken word, delight, and relief at seeing Ororo before her, regardless of location that brings them back thus. ]
Here.
[ It really has been far, far too long. ]

Jean. [ She keeps her close, arms over and around her back even as she draws back slightly to get a good look at her. Beautiful as always, and warm like the sun. ]
We have been apart for far longer, but this has felt like an age.
[ She won't go into detail. She'd really really rather not go into detail, about how long they have been apart before, the distance they have had between them because of time and circumstance.
But this was so different. There were people she knew here, yes, but she'd also felt quite alone.
Just knowing Jean was here changed things immensely. She can't put it quite into words yet, but she tightens her hold on her friend, radiating the sort of joy that she rarely lets herself feel, let alone show. ]
You have come from home, yes? Time works a little strangely here. There is a chance that I come from your future, or that you are from mine.
