Hello, again. I returned home and then was drawn back here what appears to be over a year of your time later.

If anyone can direct me to where to find Logan, David, Josh, and-or Bruce, if they are still here, I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone recognizes the names of Krakoa or the X-Men from back home, please get in touch with me, too.

For those who don't fall into either of those first two categories, my name is Jean Grey, and I originally arrived with the first batch of people to come to this world. As I don't yet know if anyone I was with is still here, I'd love an update on the status of this place.

Arrived last month actually. Met her while I was doing some supportive B&E. Good story actually.

Still in Excelsior, yes, but not in Guild housing. There was... trouble before. People here that aren't like us won't remember as much of it, but it got a bit hostile for a bit, both inside of the guild and outside. Think Registration Protocols but less deaths. Though not less arrests. Caused by a really messed up idiot and an uppity goddess. It's in the past now, but I didn't feel comfortable in my apartment anymore.

We both know you'll blend back in easily. You have unfortunate amounts of experience in missed time.

I hate that I'm grateful and not to hear she's here, especially in the wake of knowing Logan's gone again—the complication of alternate worlds. Though I'm sure, the first will win out when I see her. It's been far too long since her last trip back to the island from Arakko. It's never bad seeing her, regardless of the situation that puts us back together.

Wonderful. Then it's a date.

I'm glad you're still safe and doing better on the other side of that. That this world is in a better place with the restart, even if it staying the way it is isn't assumable so soon.

I might ask that you try and check in with Josh and Julian. Because, well... Josh has been down since Laurie was taken away. I don't think anyone but you can get how hard that could be on his mental health.

I don't know if this world is fully better with the restart, but there are less threats against me specifically.

I may have... been very vocal before when it came to the idea of Starfallen having rights and being treated fairly. But of course no one remembers that now. Still, Excelsior can be bitchy at those who do not have tech based powers, like my boyfriend.

[Maybe text can't convey the tone, but David knows what it is anyway. He can hear it in his head. He'd known Scott, known Logan, well before he ever met Jean. And they, unlike Jean or any other telepath, were open books for him. He knows the gentleness, the sympathy, the rest behind it all. It's heart warming and he's glad she's not there to see how it affects him.

That said, probably better not to tell David future him was considering such things. He had no intention of going home, and more than that, he didn't quite care for the idea of being on a main X-Team at that. Not when he loved his X-Factor work.]

I'm used to living in places where I'm not welcomed, or those I love aren't. I mean, the only reason I ever ended up in New York was because of things like that. I just hoped that maybe for once things could be different.
