That's part of it. But mostly I want to know why they gave me the power that they did.

There's something in my body that wasn't there before.

It's an extremely volatile substance from my world. Just getting into contact with it could burn you severely. Exposure to it for too long can kill. And if it's disrupted from its natural flow, it's...explosive. At best.

I'm assuming you're somehow immune to that volatility now? Or else you've been given a fuse to a ticking time bomb.

Somehow. At least for now. It apparently has only benefited me.

I'm more worried about the harm it could potentially bring to others.
