Greetings.

As I'm sure most residents of Central City have realized, we're currently handling an illness that is passing from individual to individual. This isn't something the Society would dip their fingers into during normal circumstances, but we're working under the assumption this may or may not have been unintentionally caused by one of ours.

[ The... parasites, for lack of better word, do not fall under the Society's umbrella. But given that they are certainly not quite human are spreading through the city like wildfire, Mechanima has opted to listen to Dylan Brock's suggestion and is aiming to quell the spread before it gets out of control. No need for this to put them all under an uncomfortable light. ]

We've set up quarantine zones through Central City: Centennial High School's old facility towards the North, an old lair to the West, Broadmoor Hospital to the East, and the second floor of the Society of Villainous Reformation's building for all others. We have our own research teams working to discover a cure, and are asking for assistance from any metahumans capable of discerning biological differences between beings, as well as biologists who can lend a hand. You will be compensated for your assistance.

Do not enter Central City. If you are within Central City, do not fight quarantine efforts. Do not leave the city if you are already within it. We have associates posted at every road, airport, and train station to prevent movement. Teleporters being tracked. We are watching for metahumans with quicktravel abilities.

Consider this a hostile takeover of Central City by yours truly.

Metahuman kids attending Lofty Heights aren't going to be allowed out of Central City. Whether that's an excused absence or not is up to your teachers. Everyone else is not excused and is expected to show up to their classes. This isn't a snow day. Why would I make it more fun for you?

If no one is able to figure out a method to prevent them from spreading, I will be forced to involve the Alliance. An illness is explainable, what you have told me will not go over well with those in power. And Atomight won't be able to keep it contained regardless of his intentions.
