Right, so, after I fell from the sky I met this weird guy with a long cape and pointy horn lookin' things on his head. He seemed to know me. But, like, obviously I didn't know him. Why would I know some weird runnin' around in goofy costume? [ Funny she says that given her own costume includes a big fuzzy jacket. ]

And, like, he didn't only know me. He knew of this other guy, this booger that called himself the Joker. [ She rolls her eyes. ]

Anyways, it got me wonderin' if anyone else's run into that kinda thing since arriving. A whole case of, um, whatchcallit?

[ She seems to be thinking really hard for a moment. ] Mistaken identity! Except not really?

Boy, this is all really combobulating.

I don't think the other me was on good terms with very many people.

It does seem very statistically improbable, that this would happen so often. I wonder if there's something about us that makes the Confluence more drawn to worlds like ours?

No idea! [ She is honestly the wrong person to go theorizing with. Not only is she fifteen but she's doesn't pay much attention to school or do a lot of reading in her spare time. No brains to be seen here. ]

But seems you got more people from multiplied universes or whatever like yours than I do mine.

It is really confusin'! But it's also pretty neat, y'know? Stuff like all of this don't happen back home.

We barely even have superheroes.

But you got some superheroes? So all of this isn't, like, new new to you?

Only one. He's been active for a few years now.

That must be quite the shock.
I remember when Spider-Man first started showing up around the city. It was a very strange time.

I guess? I just find it neat.

Why was it strange? I mean 'sides from someone being a superhero when you didn't have 'em before?

He was the first person to publicly display superpowers! No one knew who he was, where he came from, how he could do any of the things he did.
No one really knew what he was going to do, for a while.
It was a media circus.

[Plus, you know, the Green Goblin happened at pretty much the same time. But he doesn't want to get into all of that.]

Really! That musta have been really cool though! Ivy would say something about seeing history made or somethin'.

It certainly was that.

[In truth, everything happening with Norman around that time sort of tinged it for Otto. But we don't gotta talk about that.]

You must be finding this place very exciting, then?

Very! I mean school's still borin' but at least there's, like, the whole powers class. And there's always something happenin'!
