So, here I am, thinking it kinda sucks I got this sick-ass mansion, complete with a decked out gaming room, and nobody to play with. So here's me figuring, hey, there's a community full of guys just like me who could maybe use an outlet that doesn't involve real fucking monsters.

I'm talking Dungeons and Dragons [ there's a dramatic, musical lilt to his voice as he says this ] and none of this modern pre-packaged, I'm talking a whole fucking homebrew campaign based off of first edition baby.

But I might be persuaded to update it a decade or so if nobody's cool with getting down and dirty with their roots.

As an actual God, I usually play 3.5, but I shall entertain your idea. Since it's homebrew, are we permitted to stretch the rules a bit? Could I play an aasimar or a tiefling for example?

I have never played that particular game, but I am familiar with roleplaying games in general. Please explain 'alignment'.

Whoa, first edition...I've never played that one, but I could learn. I haven't actually gotten to play a lot. I had a bunch of [ slight pause, no big deal, REALLY ] school obligations. But my friend Ned ran a campaign once.

Uh...anyway! Slight experience, probably a magic type or a rogue, chaotic or neutral good.

Oh damn, is the offer still open? I've read the manuals but never actually had anyone to play it with. I'd be into trying out a chaotic good thief. No real preference on campaign, so long as it's not a total meat grinder.
