freaky experiment is right. there were all kinds of experimental research going on at Oscorp. some of it went well, some of it went horribly wrong. Dr. Connors was the latter. he apparently tried to release a gas that would turn everyone in New York into lizard people like him, but our local superhero showed up and stopped him just in time.

I wasn't in the city when all this went down. I just heard about it after the fact.
