Can someone who isn't a total jackass and won't waste our time please fill us in on whatever's happened since nineteen-eighty-six? That's when we're from. Thanks. Also, does anyone know how dead people can come back to life here? Is it a magical spell or a friendly curse put on them or something? Asking for reasons.

Not at all. Something similar happened here, recently - a Confluence on the ocean floor released several giant creatures. I think you'll find very little sounds insane, once you're here a while. But I am sorry you've had to go through that.
