AITA For not telling someone I'm their kid from another timeline??

I (14) came here through a confluence and met someone (mid 30s ish??) who is very clearly an alternate universe version of my parent (keeping genders vague hope that's OK, i wanna keep us anonymous if i can). Like, same name and powers and everything. But they don't know who I am & haven't heard of me.

I keep almost telling them who I am but I can't go through with it. I'm scared they'll start resenting me for dumping that responsibility on them. AITA for keeping quiet about it??

I guess that makes sense, but there are cases where unrelated people keep getting similar powers. Like idk what universe you're from, but there are like 12 different kinds of Spider-Mans where I come from.
