I attended the meeting, of course. I thought it would be potentially catastrophic to put myself in one of the robots, so I have chosen to stay and defend the city as well as possible.

While I am on guard, I do have a question.

Is there, perhaps, a test one might take. Some sort of proficiency exam. Something to gain access to higher education.

At home, I had nearly completed my Masters in Physics. Here, due to my age, I'm in highschool. It presents no challenge. I would like to be challenged, intellectually speaking.

To whom do I speak about something more... [She takes the pen off her head and chews at the end of it.]

There are equivalency exams. I had to take several to re-certify my doctorate in Physics.

[And probably one or two other degrees, but since she's interested in physics specifically. Her age doesn't even really register; this place is swarming with teen prodigies, it seems.]

I can forward you the materials for those, but if they currently have you enrolled in high school, you'll probably have to start by getting your GED.

I test well, there should be no problem, in theory. Please, yes. Send forward the materials. I will obtain the GED, and then go from there. Thank you for your help.

Math and science are safe. They're made of logic. The building blocks of the universe. Highschool presents no real challenge. I've filled a full notebook writing out Pi. Materials received, thank you. I hope that these tests will prove I am capable of mastering physics.

That's true. But there's value in the humanities, too. We shouldn't entirely neglect them.

Agreed. I dance, as well. With is a kind of math in and of itself. But also art, and beauty.

Everything is connected, isn't it? Man cannot live on science alone.

I'm not much of an artist myself, I'm afraid.
But my wife was a poet. Always a creator of beauty.
