Not as time-intensive or snobby as learning how to be a doctor, but they still need to understand giving meds, the short hand language, and immediate first aid. There are usually classes you can take if you want to get certified for these sorts of things, or you can buy one dinner and pick their brain for information. They don't usually make much so they tend to be grateful for the free meal.
